Avanzare Group strengthens its presence with a €10 million investment, creating 30 new jobs

Strengthening our production capacity

At Avanzare, a European leader in the research, development, and production of advanced materials and functional additives for plastics, we are strengthening our presence with an ambitious industrial expansion plan. This project, with a total investment of €10 million, will be carried out in three phases and will allow us to create more than 30 new jobs over the next three years.

After more than a decade dedicated to research, development, and innovation in the high-performance plastics industry, we are taking a decisive step to strengthen our production capacity.

Phase One: Acquisition of Plásticos Karey

The first phase of our expansion plan, already underway, involved the acquisition of the Plásticos Karey production unit, located in Logroño, Spain. This operation, with an investment exceeding €4 million, focuses on the production of additive concentrates for plastics developed by our R&D department. In this initial stage, we have already welcomed 10 new professionals and expect to reach a total of 15 hires by the end of 2025.

Phase Two: Production of graphene masterbatches and conductive materials

The second phase, scheduled for late 2026, will focus on the production of graphene masterbatches and other highly concentrated conductive materials. This development will significantly increase our production capacity and allow us to better serve both national and international markets, especially in strategic sectors such as automotive, construction, and electronics, which have high demand for technically advanced and sustainable solutions.

Phase Three: New production line and hiring

Finally, in the third phase of the project, set for late 2027, we will complete the implementation with the establishment of a new production line and the hiring of the necessary personnel.

For our management team, this expansion “reinforces our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the creation of quality employment in La Rioja,” as well as representing “a decisive step toward our consolidation as a European reference in advanced materials.” With this new stage of growth, we reaffirm our commitment to research and expansion from La Rioja to international markets.
