On 24 and 25 June, Avanzare participated in a training course that is part of the PERTE-VEC programme. This training, given by Managing Composites, focused on the lamination processes of composite materials.

A diverse theoretical part.

The course included a theoretical part that included various lamination processes, the types of fibers that can be used, the different arrangements these fibers can have to enhance composite properties, as well as the use of cores and honeycombs, among other aspects.

Wet lay-up technique using Avanzare’s graphene-additivated resins.

In the practical section, an infusion process was carried out using Avanzare’s own graphene-added resin. In addition, the wet lay-up technique was implemented with these resins and graphene foils were introduced as electrodes.

In short, this course has been a great opportunity, both for our team and for the rest of the participants, to deepen in the different lamination processes of composite materials that are currently essential in the automotive industry.
