Explore the features and properties of A-direct

A-direct is a next-generation expanded material, specifically designed for the manufacture of footwear soles through direct injection onto the cut.

This material combines lightness and performance, with densities ranging between 0.6 and 0.8 g/cm³. Its low weight, together with excellent abrasion resistance and a superior feel, makes it an ideal choice for casual and sports footwear. The formulation of A-direct is based on a blend of polymers, mainly PVC and NBR, reinforced with other insertion polymers that provide the properties required for outstanding performance in every application.

The material is supplied in the form of granules, directly formulated for direct injection onto the cut at injection temperatures of 165–185 °C.

Although the material already offers optimal properties, it can be customized on demand in aspects such as color and specific features, including:

• Abrasion Plus: abrasion values below 175 mm³
• Antistatic: electrical resistance within ESD or antistatic ranges
• Flame retardant: fire resistance
• Smell: specific odor

The material is stable and can be safely used for up to 2 years when stored under controlled conditions:

• Temperatures below 45 °C
• Humidity below 75%

A-direct is supplied in 25 kg bags or 1000 kg big bags.
