On March 11 and 12, 2026, the rubber and plastics industry once again gathered at Plastics & Rubber 2026, held at La Farga (L’Hospitalet de Llobregat). This year’s edition focused strongly on innovation and the search for cleaner, more sustainable solutions, reflecting the transformation of a sector that has historically faced significant environmental challenges.

In this context, the participation of Nasika Products S.A.U., a division of Avanzare Group specialized in high-performance predispersed additives, stood out not only for its technical and commercial presence, but also for its strong commitment to more sustainable solutions that are helping shape trends within the industry.a.

Commitment to sustainability: Nasika LE.

One of the highlights of Nasika’s participation in Plastics & Rubber was the presentation of the Nasika LE. line, specifically designed to minimize the environmental impact in the manufacturing of rubber compounds. This range is part of a sustainability strategy aimed at reducing the carbon footprint in Scopes 1 and 2, while offering more efficient and environmentally friendly solutions.

The main feature of Nasika LE. is its formulation with a recycled polymer binder and natural plasticizers, which reduces the use of fossil-based resources and promotes material circularity. In addition, its production has been optimized to reduce energy consumption by 58%, generating environmental benefits while lowering costs associated with the production process.

Nasika L.E. also improves efficiency in the industrial mixing process by reducing processing times without compromising the quality of the final product. This increases plant productivity and helps improve safety and working conditions for operators. At a time when the chemical and materials industries are under increasing pressure to reduce emissions and minimize environmental impact, Nasika’s proposal represents a significant step forward toward responsible production aligned with global sustainability goals.

Nasika DB: Versatile solutions for advanced processes.

Although sustainability was the central focus, other product ranges that reinforce Nasika’s technological leadership were also presented, such as Nasika DB. This line consists of chemical formulations and dry-blend products specifically designed to improve different aspects of rubber vulcanization and compound compatibility.

Within the Nasika DB range, there are co-agents that facilitate crosslinking in peroxide vulcanization processes, coupling agents that improve compatibility between fillers and rubber, anti-tack agents that act as release agents, and dispersants that help incorporate additives during the mixing process.

Although this line is not specifically focused on sustainability like the L.E. range, its technical efficiency and versatility indirectly contribute to more efficient processes that can reduce waste and improve performance in demanding industrial applications.

The booth as a space for dialogue.

During the two days of the exhibition, Nasika not only presented these products at its stand but also maintained an ongoing dialogue with clients, distributors, and technical professionals about best practices and future developments.

Nasika’s presence at Plastics & Rubber 2026 also served to reinforce the Avanzare Group’s commitment to responsible innovation, a value that is reflected in its products and in the way they are integrated into demanding value chains such as automotive, footwear, construction, and the industrial sector in general.

Sustainability as a driver of growth.

Nasika’s commitment to sustainable solutions, such as Nasika L.E., is a concrete response to market demands and current sustainability policies. Companies across Europe are incorporating environmental criteria into their purchasing and production processes, making cleaner and more efficient solutions a strategic factor for maintaining competitiveness.

In addition, internal initiatives such as the reduction of Scope 1 and 2 emissions, which increased from 49 % in 2022 to 55 % in 2024, demonstrate that Nasika is implementing deep organizational changes, not just focusing on the final product.

The future of NASIKA.

Nasika’s participation was, ultimately, a statement of intent regarding the path the company aims to follow in terms of sustainability. The combination of innovation, efficiency, and environmental commitment positions Nasika as a key player in the transformation of the rubber industry toward more sustainable and competitive models.
